A big economic crisis in Korea

I'm going to talk about my country's case of economic crisis.

In 1997, there is happening of IMF in Korea. It was a big country's crisis.

All economy looks like still, and all people were very depressed because of this.

 

I was a high school student during this period.

I was very shocked at contacting everyday serious news that many people, mostly many Korean Fathers, lost their jobs and commit suicide and every communities got weak and bankruptcy happened. Family ruined, industry became dull, all over the country had to experience the very hard time.

 

My country is small, so if something happen, almost everybody get involved. Fortunately, we could have an IMF help, and we tried to overcome that crisis making a campaign to collect gold (Many people took their gold sleeping at home, collet them nationwide, and assisted them will be using for country's big crisis.)
